⋒ Biodegradable PLA+ 3D-printed polymer clay cutters. These cutters are designed, produced, and sold by Ditto By Rachael. That makes these cutters designed, produced, and sold all within the USA! ⋒ Included are the various shapes and sizes that you see in the product photos. You will receive all ten cutters tied together with biodegradable twine to keep our DITTO packaging environmentally friendly. ⋒ The cutting edge has been designed to be 0.8mm wide, which is thin yet rigid & durable. The edges are sharp, but it is expected that you will have to sand the final clay product. The overall height of the cutters is 10mm, allowing easy handling. The cutting edges are supported for increased strength, but still allow for a cutting depth of 4mm. ⋒ PLA will warp if exposed to extreme sunlight and heat, so it is best to keep them in a cool, dry place. Clay may stick to smaller cutters, but cutting on a ceramic surface usually prevents this. Avoid excessive exposure to water and other cleaning solutions. ⋒ We continue to use PLA as our material of choice since it is manufactured from relatively more renewable resources than the majority of other plastics. That being said, PLA is only biodegradable under certain environmental conditions, so please recycle properly!
